Importance of Disclosure Statements when Selling a Unit

When you are Selling or assisting with the Sale of a Unit, it is very important to ensure that the contract is completed on a Contract for Residential Lots in a Community Titles Scheme.

A Seller is required to provide a signed Disclosure Statement to the Buyer which can be obtained from the Body Corporate Manager (for a small fee).

If this is not provided, prior to signing the contract, the Buyer will then hold the right to terminate the contract at any time prior to settlement.
